A visit to the Worth Valley on 30th August 2009 found 90733, 41241 and 20031 in service.

The 16th August 2009 saw 80002 and 41241 provide the motive power.

A visit to The Worth Valley Railway on 26th April found Taff Vail Railway Number 85 and B.R Class 20 031 in service.

A lovely sunny day at The Worth Valley Railway found BR Standard 4 No 80002, BR Class 20 031 and the Waggon & Maschinenbau Railcar in service.

Glorious sunshine over the Easter weekend at The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway saw London, Midland & Scottish Railway No. 47279 Jinty and War Department No. 90733 in service.20031 the BR Class 20 covered the Early morning runs.

A visit to The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway found 80002, 47279 and the D.M.U in service.

41241 was in service on The keighley and Worth Valley Railway on 25th March 2007.Built by British Railways at Crewe in 1949.The locomotive hauled the train at the reopening of the line in 1968 and has become a firm favourite on the Railway ever since.

The Museum of Rail Travel is operated by the Vintage Carriages Trust and has a large collection of vintage locomotives & carriages.The Ingrow Loco Museum is the home of the Bahamas Locomotive Society, The museum and workshop tells the story of the locomotive and the People.The museum's are located at The keighley & Worth Valley railway's Ingrow West Station.Both museums are excellent and well worth a visit.

Taff Vale Railway 0-6-2 No85 and The Waggon & Maschinenbau Railcar were in service on 1st March 2009.

Along with resident locomotives 90733, 80002, 47279, 41279 and 85 Guest locomotive 70013 Oliver Cromwell delighted enthusiasts over the weekend. Everyone involved with the Gala especially the volunteers at The KWVR should be proud of another excellently organised event.

Sunday 8th February saw The Worth Valley under a blanket of snow.B.R. Ivatt tank No. 41241 and the1958 German-built diesel railcar were in service.

A small collection of Photo's taken on 12th October 2008.Unfortunatly due to prior commitments I was only able to attend the Steam Gala for a short period of time,but for the time I was there the event was up to the Worth Valley's usual high standards.Along with resident Worth Valley Locomotives visitor S160 No. 5197 from The Churnet Valley Railway was very impressive.

The weather was excellent on this visit to the Worth Valley Railway.47279, Class 108 DMU and Waggon & Maschinenbau railcar were in service.Once again my thanks go to all the volunteer staff who make visits very enjoyable.

Visiting Locomotive GWR 4953 Pitchford Hall and Resident Worth Valley Loco's working hard and the glorious weather made this a Steam Gala to remember.To all the Worth Valley volunteers,You have every reason to be proud of yourselves.
